N. Bethay
Founder & Chief Officer of Children Having Incarcerated Parents
With over 15+ years of professional experience, including past roles working in Correctional facilities, the vision for S.H.I.F.T.I.N.G. Paths came about. As a young adult, Ms. Bethay spent a lot of time mentoring and volunteering her time assisting children at her elementary school and church. She's passionate about this organization because she have a big heart and want to see each child given a fair shot at life, regardless of where they come from or their current circumstances.
T. Jackson
Chief Officer of Correction 2 New Direction
Mrs. Jackson have mentored the youth for over 12 years and have encountered many who have parents who were incarcerated. In her professional career, she has been a law enforcement officer for over 11 years and have seen firsthand how an arrest of a parent can be traumatic for many children. Her goal is to continue to provide support and guidance to our youth as they navigate through life's challenges.
D. Mirjah
Chief Officer of Another Chance To Society
Mrs. Mirjah brings 15+ years of experience with working with our youth. This includes working for the Clerk of Courts as a Trial Clerk for many years and most recently as a Consumer Access Representative with Advent Health Hospital. She has also served as a level II volunteer for both Orange and Lake County schools. During her career experience she has encountered youth from many walks of life. She encourages them to be true to oneself, express happiness, joy, peace, confidence, forgiveness, and love. She's very passionate about the youth at S.H.I.F.T.I.N.G. Paths and will enjoy being able to walk alongside them on their journey to success.
